Rogelio works closely with local governments, community members, funding agencies and philanthropy to provide solutions from problem to project for water utilities; from strategic problem solving, capital planning through financing, transaction execution and post project capital planning. Working to bring together community water solutions with funding.
As water is a foundational utility for community health and prosperity; in 2021 he joined Water Finance Exchange as a Director after 25 years in public finance investment banking. At WFX he oversees community engagements to bring scalable water, wastewater and flood infrastructure solutions. In this work he focuses on regional collaborations, water resource management, project design and implementation and holistic solutions that consider health, affordability and economic opportunity. Rogelio believes in meeting communities where they are. With the tremendous resources at WFX Rogelio helps to provide capacity in administration, operations and finance.
He is a committed volunteer for Native American and K-12 education issues. Rogelio spends time with community members and can be found with the state and federal leadership advocating for water solutions.
