US Water Alliance and Partners Release, “Closing The Water Gap in the United States”

The report, “Closing the Water Access Gap in the United States: A National Action Plan,” is a collaboration between the US Water Alliance, DigDeep, and Michigan State University. This report, released on November 21, 2019, is the culmination of three-years of research conducted by the US Water Alliance who sought to gain a nuanced understanding of how water systems affect vulnerable people. As part of this report, a water equity framework is offered that responds to the over two million of Americans without basic access to running water or indoor plumbing.

This report is a comprehensive review of the water access challenge in the US, combining data analysis with field research to best provide solutions to this complex problem.
