Nicole manages WFX’s policy and advocacy efforts, as well as our impact and evaluation and data management efforts. She also provides support on research, communications, and event management.
Nicole Ramirez brings a wealth of experience from the international development sector, primarily in pro-democracy initiatives, food security, and conservation biology. Through her experiences working with local project teams across Latin America, West Africa, East Africa, and India, and teaching biology in a small, close-knit island community in Spain, Nicole became passionate about community-led initiatives. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from New York University and a Master’s degree from the University of Sussex Institute of Development Studies, both with high honors, and a certificate in Climate Adaptation Solutions from the University of Oxford.
