Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Opportunities in Tennessee

On March 30, 2023, leaders of both federal and state agencies, NGOs, and communities in Tennessee convened to discuss the state’s water and wastewater infrastructure. More than 45 sector leaders gathered at the Southwestern Conference Center in Nashville, Tennessee to work toward sustainable solutions to reach their economic, public health, and environmental goals.

The workshop convened water sector leaders, communities seeking to address sustainable water management needs, and public officials. Eleven communities from small, rural, and underserved areas across Tennessee were represented at the workshop, where they learned more about new funding and investments for water and wastewater infrastructure, technical assistance, and sustainable solutions.
